ummmmm. not exactly the apartment i had in mind. the landlord reveiled to me that we actually cant move in completely yet. apparently she booked some people already. what's wierd about this place is its more of a vacation rental place, not a permanent apartment. there's a lot of people staying for 3-5 days. so in a week from now, we can have one of the rooms, with living and kitchen area, for only 900 euros a month. DIVIDED BY 3. really insano cheap. but i wish we could move and stay in it right now. i just want to get settled in. so since there is no place for us to stay for the next 6 days, the landlord and her husband said we can stay at her house 50 kilometers of of the city. WTF. sorry to say that but seriously...wtf. we are gonna roll with it but its pretty freaking wierd. they seem really nice though. hopefully its not one of those horror movie situations. i don't even want to think about it. anyways, we go there tomorrow night, just at nights when they head out there. ill check it out, but if it sucks because they head out there too early, i'll probably crash on sarah's couch for those days, or call some other people that might have a spot. whatever. WHEN IN ROME. or vienna i guess.
well for tonight we get to stay in the place that was promised to us (amazing), so i'm kicking it here w/my new roommates, packed in a tiny room w/three beds. one of them is a girl. both are chinese. i love it. this is going to be so wierd and ridiculous and probably annoying at times. im pretty easy going about the whole room-sharing thing, but i dont really know how this girl is going to feel. SOON ENOUGH. they are both really great people though. im excited to get to know them. sort of feel like i'm back in china right now though. haha. they bought a rice cooker today. SO MONEY. i love rice. especially in austria. well im going to bed. my first night in austria. kinda uncomfortable, sketchy, and of course, very new. the time is about to fly by though, as usual.
im stoked to go find a cell phone, see the city center, find the churches ive been in contact with, and of course...EAT MORE BREAD!
