went and hung out with some college kids from the church i checked out last weekend. really cool guys. learned about romanian communism for like an hour from a kid that used to live in it. kind of crazy stories he had! i was invited to a retreat they have in the mountains this weekend. decided this morning that i'm actually gonna go. i packed up a few things an hour ago and am planning to head out straight from school. should be an awesome time. not only that but im gonna go to london next wednesday to see stephen (my roommate who works with the british consulate) and my old roommate at ucla, who is from London. I haven't seen him in three or four years! so i'll be all over the place in the next week. my group seems okay with it. at least we have four people in our group, so its not a huge deal if one person disappears (me). im stoked about it!
today its pretty cold and it looks like its gonna rain. probably will. ive been planning for this to happen since i got here. i think the warm weather is pretty much over with. im actually hoping it will snow here this winter. sometimes they say it doesnt anymore until january, which mean i wont be around!
well im at school and i guess i have to do work or something. the guy in my group that said we should meet at 11 today is still not here at 1 pm. so we are just kickin right now. my other group member, sergio, is sitting here smacking the crap out of his monitor, because apparently that makes it work again. haha.
