hey all you jumped up little gits! still in England till tomorrow. we've done so much stuff here that I feel like I've been here for weeks. it's been great though. met up with stephen yesterday morning. he was about 2 hours late trying to find tristans place, which is actually pretty hard to find. we kind of kicked it till about 1 in the afternoon and then went out on the touristy mission of checking out westminster abbey, house of parliament, buckingham palace, and the tower of london. let me say right now that westminster abbey is one of the most amazing places. the oldest kings of london are buried there, and the building is completely old and just awesome. its crazy to think that the united states came from this country, and that the US is only a couple hundred years old, whereas this place has buildings that are intact from 1000 years ago. CRAZY. london is a beautiful place in general. maybe that's because its been sunny the whole time we have been here, which is so rare for this city. i was expecting rain nonstop. and again, i must bring up the ENGLISH PUBS. we found this awesome spot after hitting the abbey, that had 5 pound meat pie meals and 2 pound london pride and guiness on tap. we dominated that place for like an hour and half. meat pie of the day (with other things inside we didn't want to ask about....probably pig brains) mashed potatoes, peas, bread, and beer = heaven...and a lot of burping and farts. and heartburn. crazy heartburn.
that night we were able to hit some wine bar for tristan's friend's birthday party. some finance guy from the states...actually from Wisconsin. wierd. and a bunch of germans. there are apparently a ton of germans in finance in london. oh ya, and a chinese girl with a british accent. what the heck. but from this point on in the night, the events started to get a little more interesting. it was time for an adventure...and this requires the introduction of stupid ideas that somehow become a reality...maybe because of the wine...
